She was knowledgeable about dyslexia and how this might impact on my daughter's learning. She was able to explain strategies that she would use to support my daughter's learning. Despite being fully online, Jane quickly established rapport with C, and C's confidence in her own ability increased week on week.

"After struggling to find a tutor locally, I contacted Jane and asked if online lessons would be a possibility. From the initial contact Jane couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly or accommodating.
My son has additional support needs and processes information and learns in his own unique style. He had low confidence following a poor prelim for Nat 5 Biology and wasn’t hopeful for future study or exams.
After his first lesson with Jane, he was bursting with enthusiasm and his confidence increased immediately. Jane has teased out the knowledge he had and helped him build on this. Since that initial session, he has turned into an A grade Biology student with a passion for the subject. He is now studying towards Higher. Without doubt, this would not have been possible without Jane’s input.
Jane updates me regularly on M’s progress and gives coursework and revision in a way which is constructive, supportive and provides specific feedback. This allows M to take his next steps and plug gaps knowing he is fully supported and can access guidance when he needs to.

"I was referred to Jane by a friend whose son was being supported by her. Since meeting Jane both my daughter and my son have attended sessions; my daughter for higher and my son more recently for National 5.
I have continued to be impressed with Jane's style of teaching, she is very aware that every student is different and has their own style of learning; this is especially true for my kids who are both very different. Jane practiced numerous styles of study looking to find what suits the individual, allowing them to choose what works best for them.
